Hmm, shame the kids tickets aren’t as favourable.

Picked up a Charlton ticket for £21.50 this morning, could barely believe it! How do they survive?!

‘Please note sales for this fixture will commence ahead of sales for West Brom despite the fixture being played after West Brom. West Brom tickets will be Print at Home, ticket information for this fixture will be announced in due course’ It’s because the TV games for that weekend haven’t been announced yet, they will be in the next few days. I reckon it’ll be a 12:30 KO on the Sat.

Still think there's a chance it moves to the Wednesday if Saints get through to the FA Cup semis and play on the Sunday. [Post edited 30 Mar 15:05]

Especially given we charged them category A prices. £43 in the upper cobbold, and £38 in lower. For a midday Sunday kickoff.

I think this game prompted my only other email to Ashton (prior to last week) - thanking him for everything he had done for us but, making it explicitly clear how embarrassed I was to find out that we were charging away fans £43 a ticket. It was shortly after seeing a video from Ashton talking about the fans ‘stepping up’ to buy merch or something, so I wanted to make the point that this didn’t sit well with me at all, given the money floating around in football and the cost of living crisis. I made the point that we could half all ticket prices for every game this season for the same amount of money we spend on agent fees alone in a single year, and challenged him to be the club to break the mould and set a fairer ticket pricing model. No reply of course. And all credit to Charlton for being that club.

Other clubs away supporters are being charged £27 there, must be some ticket promotion for their fans that night. Wouldn't have moaned about paying £27 either.

Don’t think it would be as in that case Southampton still need to play their league game from cup semi weekend and I thought it was now the case that all league games have to be completed by the final scheduled day. So they would have to play Tuesday Thursday Saturday in the final week.

I think they'd move the game vs Blackburn (weekend of FA Cup semi) to 14th April (the night we play Pompey)

That’s true, although you’d not be happy as a Blackburn fan being brought so far forward.

Do you realise we charge our own fans £38/£43 a ticket?
