Occasional reminder that Reform don't care about normal people 07:11 - Apr 2 with 708 viewsDubtractor

Sure, they say things you agree with about foreigners and marginalised groups, and that makes you think Nigel is a good bloke, actually. But but under no illusion that they will trash this country to enable a few very rich people to become more rich.

Reform do not care about your safety or wellbeing. They’d let house builders build dangerous homes, they’ll let manufacturers sell shoddy and dangerous products, they’ll let food manufacturers sell unsafe food. All this to make more profit for the companies' owners. inews.co.uk/news/grenfel...

Indeed, this is what's at the pointy end of that lovely, dosh-saving, catchphrase "deregulation" looks like! Regulations are usually put in place for good reason, most often people's safety (be that, well-being health-wise, or financially) and, of course, preserving our environment. Removing these so companies can make more money is bonkers!

Unfortunately the average Reform voter won’t care about this but instead only will only care about owning the liberals.

Reform as a party are a mix of the very worst grifters who would sell their own mother to the highest bidder and genuine racists, some who happily straddle both of those too. Those who call the shots have at least one foot firmly in the grifter camp. They don't give a shit about the UK or its citizens, they care about making themselves and their backers as much money as possible and screw the consequences. The racism and xenophobia is a handy distraction so that people don't notice the grift, with a complicit media in place they can carry on pointing at immigrants and blaming them for everything while they siphon every penny they can out of the country at the expense of everyone else. They don't represent a protest vote, they aren't offering meaningful change, it's basically the post-2019 Tories on crack.

Exactly. All anyone need do is look across the Atlantic to see the sort of asset stripping and corruption that you'll get if you vote for them, along with some good old fashioned racism and xenophobia as the tools of distraction. It is utterly transparent.

The real issue is that not one Reform leaning poster has engaged with this thread. It's being ignored because it's inconvenient.

I think it's very much a given that all those working class types who are tempted to vote for good old Nige would suddenly start to see their employment rights severely eroded too.

I find it completely baffling why anybody who's not sitting on a big pile of cash would even remotely consider voting Reform.

No idea when I began here, was a very long time ago. Previously known as Spirit_of_81. Love cheese, hate the colour of it, this is why it requires some blue in it.

Because they are very good at appealing to people's base instinct, and it is very hard to counter emotions with fact.

Excellent debate.

Good points, well made and supported by evidence.

How many do we have? 5-10? I am not a Reform leaning poster and have been posting on here this morning but have only just seen this thread.

Quite a few from posts I've read.

There isn't much engagement though.

They’re all just waiting for someone else to do the thinking for them so they can comment “This”.
