Their vision is to win peace by militarily defeating the enemy without any help within 24 hours. And it is getting help from their allies to win the prolonged ground war. And they don't need any help and there won't be any ground war. And they will nuke the desalination plants. But not yet but maybe any time now. I think. Or something like that. It's either fire so many random ideas out there that no one has an idea of what their vision is or it is they haven't got a clue. I think it's actually a large chunk of both.

Like Bondi, this is a loyalty play. Removing the checks and balances left in the Armed Forces is a horrific turn of events.
| War could be taking a more dangerous turn on 22:34 - Apr 2 with 1791 views | Churchman | Replacing an experienced General with a political appointee will result in a lot more American body bags being flown home. I’m not sure this will play too well with the American people, unless of course Trump buries the news. You are right. A very dangerous turn by very dangerous people.. Interesting that he’s declared the war won and all objectives just about achieved, but has binned the Army Chief of Staff. [Post edited 2 Apr 22:47]

The question is what happens I’d he looks to be getting a kicking in the mid terms. Will he just fake the result? Declare it null and void? What power does Congress and Senate have over him these days? What if he tries it will be the response of States that are not Republicans like California?

For too long other nations have meekly nodded along to Trump, even as he trash talked them, and there needs to be more push back, carefully done as it may be. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/art [Post edited 2 Apr 23:09]

I think Trump will find US casualties far more damaging than his mate Putin has done with Russian ones.

What does he mean by ‘trusted’? Yes men I presume. People that will do without challenge whatever the cost and most important - take the blame. This purging, as Cochran says sounds like coup level sht.

Now why does that not surprise me? Looking at US mainstream media (ABC, NBC, CBS) they’re very light on criticising Trump and very much parrot his line. You’ll see the odd sideways less favourable comment such as the person that accused Bondi of doing more damage to the AGs office than anyone’s ever managed. Basically she’s been fired because she’s not enforced his retribution on enemies hard and fast enough. She’s apparently moving on to an important private sector job and fully supports Trump still and visa versa because he likes her. Can’t see that lasting. She must surely realise in the next round of blame game, she’s firmly at the wrong end of the coconut shy. Their media also seems dead in its reporting of the Iran war. It’s very passive in its comments and uses the Trumpesque line of we’ve engineered complete regime change. Of course they haven’t at all. All in all, I get the feeling, probably misplaced, that their media is scared of him and possibly relishes the newsworthiness of daily chaos.

Regarding regime change, his new take is that if you kill the original lot then you've changed it so...job done!
