I know he's categorically ineligible for the Town Hall of Fame, but between THAT goal and his stint as the Budgies' manager, the guy's certainly been knocking at the door!

I was slightly disappointed to meet him on one occasion and discover he's actually a pretty nice chap.

I met him very briefly at work, was very tempted to put the video on whilst he was in a meeting with some others but didn't think it would go down that well!
Middle of the North Stand for my first pitch invasion. I completely lost my voice during the celebrations in front of the away fans, dodging a few thrown seats. It took two days to recover. One of my all time favourite football experiences.
I was in Churchmans right in line with it. Funniest thing I’ve ever seen at a football ground. Cheering and hysterical laughter at the same time. I remember it as if it was yesterday. Where has the time gone?
Honourable hilarity moments: Megson’s bullet header Luke Bash Street Kids Chadwick literally being cleared into the East Stand by Bates. Wiped out.

My favourite Norwich player and and manager. Not only that for that kick but also taking them to League 1 and getting smashed 7-1 at home to Colchester 😂
Norwich club legend.
