Well it has changed in that we have to get those 10 pts out of one less game. Getting 7pts is easier than getting 10 pts. Getting 10 pts becomes a problem if we're running out of games.
I'm not being negative, but Pompey was a big blow. I think a win there and we'd be smelling promotion already and the rivals would feel it too. Still in the driving seat for 2nd place, but Boro ( and Millwall and Southampton) must have had a boost out of the Pompey result.
If we get back on the horse straight away with Boro, then great.... but I feel PR will be a very nervy place on Sunday.

It would be very welcome though. Given 10 points guarantees us promotion, that has to be the aim from the next 5 games. 2ppg obviously, which is exactly what we've done for the last 5. Maximum points from the 2 home games would go a long way to doing that.
We really want to be going to Southampton knowing we can secure promotion with a win, but also that its still in our hands on the final day if we lose. That would be a nice position to be in. To do that we probably need 2 wins from the next 3. Get one Sunday and we can go to Charlton and WBA knowing 3 points is likely fine, 4 very good and 6 dream land. |  | | |

I did a League Calculator I had us drawing with Boro, losing to Southampton (who win all their games) and us winning our others and that had us finishing 1 point ahead of them in second.
