| A really sad day.... 17:51 - Apr 16 with 6342 views | BanksterDebtSlave | A little bit look at me but mostly I just wanted Bloots to know!! Just this moment sent this.... Dear Sir/Madam After some 16 years or so of having a season ticket that's it for me and my daughter. The Ashton/Farage debacle had pretty much made up my mind and now these price increases are the final straw. Money and corporate disregard/lack of accountability have done for me and I fear ultimately the game too. Yours etc.... | |

| A really sad day.... on 12:21 - Apr 17 by Mullet | It wasn’t a mistake it was deliberate, he lied about it to us and multiple people, and we now have social media/ the outside world/ some of our scummy fans aligning the club with Reform and their brand of fascism. The fact he’s still in post is absolutely baffling. There aren’t many employers that wouldn’t have booted him the second it was shown he’d lied. |
Some employers give the employees a second chance, he's not sexually abused anyone ffs, he's inavertently aligned the club with an individual that people will democratically be able to reject (or not). I've said it before, cannot stand Farage, not a fan of Ashton 'speak' but I do think on the whole, he's managed the club pretty well since coming in and that should not be discarded so easily. Ultimately he spent one day with a dirty politician and ended up doing the same as they do, flat out lie lol! It's not a great look, but it can be moved past for the good of the club.

We could, more comfortably , move on if the roles of Chairman & CEO were split.

makes me laugh when anyone on the telly tries to ‘do’ a suffolk/norfolk accent it generally comes out sounding like a south west accent..even Ralf Fiennes who starred in the Dig, the film about the sutton hoo treasure, couldn’t crack it despite having ‘lessons’ to try and master it.. I sometimes wonder if that is on purpose. A genuine Suffolk accent is unique, and maybe an audience unfamiliar with it may think it sounds too odd to be authentic? I come from a long line of rum 'uns so can hear it a mile off.

| A really sad day.... on 11:55 - Apr 17 by Sarge | I think they’ve done a Cameron Burgess and followed up an own goal with another one. The Farage debacle made us a national laughing stock and angered the fanbase. Quickly followed by a price increase way above inflation and that realistically is chicken feed in terms of what the club brings in (and then wastes in terrible transfer windows). Didn’t need to jack up the prices that much, and certainly not after already pissing off your fans. It shows quite clearly to me that the only person we have in charge is a David Brent-esque revenue-obsessed narcissist with nobody to keep him in check. |

Edit The Ashton thing set the ball in motion but the money factor home and away is hard to justify personally. [Post edited 16 Apr 18:13]

so really its the increase in the cost, as you are based away from the area and its getting expensive to travel to home games & season ticket etc etc. i get it and totally understand . but just for the crack you thought you'd add the ashton incident in? so if prices still went up and there was no visit you'd be fine renewing still? i don't swing left or right , all ways down the middle- pending excitement

My dad's family came frum F'lixto'e. When they spoke they sort of sang to you with the tone going up at the end of the sentence. I remember Nanny would always "Put the caps in the cabbard with the batter". Suffolk is not one dialect it is many.

I haven't made any statement on the numbers. So let's say, for arguments sake, there are 150,000 Town fans worldwide. How many of them have you spoken with, on this subject?

all I can say is that apart from on here I haven’t spoken to or heard of ONE town fan who thinks it’s an issue..a cross section of fans I know personally..those on the coach I travelled to last Saturday….anyone I spoke to in the fanzone before the last home game….NOT ONE…so yeah.. as far as I know it’s only the shouty lot on here who are outraged…

Everyone I've spoken to about it has been pretty pissed off about what happened so if we're basing it on just our own experiences, all Town fans are pissed off about it and you're clearly talking rubbish.
