QPR - Three losses on the spin, no wins in 5 17:01 - Apr 25 with 1043 viewsBellevue_Blue

Does not guarantee anything but a pretty good time to play them.

They looked on the beach at Millwall. Hopefully they still will be.

The crowd need to be patient and keep calm though if the early goal doesn't come.

Hmm like going to Portsmouth after they'd won something like one from seven at home.

….or not.
In the same way that a winning run has to end, so does a winless one. They’ve got no pressure, we have, I expect it to be tight.

Hopefully their fans just want a day out and won't be pushing for a win that may let Millwall up too.

Absolutely *not* - how many times have comments like that come back to bite us on the bum?

“So and so hasn’t scored a goal for x months “ (goes on to score against us).
“So and so haven’t won for 7 games “ (go on to win v us).

Etc etc.

Portsmouth were in a relegation scrap when we played them & it was in front of their passionate crowd. We will be at home to QPR in front of a packed PR & while QPR won't lie down for us, I would be amazed if we didn't beat them. We may make this irrelevant by beating Southampton on Tuesday.

They have Madsen, Chair and Burrell back from injury – their three best players, basically – and will probably fancy a pop at us. It's no Exeter or Huddersfield. You'd still expect us to be ok but let's try and remove the doubt on Tuesday ...

Sounds like they should have comfortably won today but it was their last game in front of their home crowd for the season.

Despite our excellent home form we have actually had a tone of draws at home but this is such a favorable fixture really, score in first half and we should be fine. Our biggest challenge will be fatigue.

Today was the one we really had to navigate after last nights result though.

I give us a shout at Southampton.
