| I wanted to share Saints fans feedback on tonight 23:04 - Apr 28 with 4652 views | unstableblue | On the way out And in the bars in the centre of town Saints fans were just praising how dogged and difficult Town were tonight But more passionately stating that, that was the best away end they’d ever witnessed at St Marys Well done all - the ‘blue and white army’ was relentless And just in general the away end was just immense | |

Well done all who made is a memorable night and well done to the players and the manager, a great effort by all. Home fans, we need the same on Saturday. [Post edited 28 Apr 23:17]

Cracking match, two really good teams, what sounded like a great atmosphere, what's not to enjoy?

really noticeable how many players from both sides embraced each other..sign of a well fought battle with no quarter given or taken…

PR Saturday can be a fabulous occasion, ramp up the noice and cheer the boy to a promotion they will have deserved by then. One game at a time, the time it now.

I also think we were a tad unlucky not to be going into Saturdays game just being able to put on a show. A couple of points where we didn't fire was Nunez who's passing was very average and Matisuwa looked very tired and got caught in possession several times. Burns caused them problems and Clarke caused havoc when he came on. No doubt Saints are a good side, it just goes to show how good we are when most of our players are on song. I pray that we get the job done and a similar display would suffice although I don't expect QPR to want a game of football. I hope Saints get the job done as well as they are the best of those in the playoffs.

Actually, being selfish - and assuming we go up - I'd rather Millwall won the playoffs, arguably one team destined to go straight back down, plus there might be a few decent players from Boro or Soton we could pinch.

I think we'll want more than 10 people making that kind of noise.

Ahhh, that's what he meant. I was going to say that I wasn't sure we had the capacity to support everyone bringing 10 people with them

A really great night, it's what it's all about. My friend, a saints fan at other end of ground said when we all sang 'When the Town/Saints go marching' It was a four sided wall of sound.

| I wanted to share Saints fans feedback on tonight on 17:42 - Apr 29 with 812 views | DJR | This comment was on the BBC website report on the match. "On my way home from a cracking game tonight. Real credit to both teams giving everything to try & win. Also credit to the Ipswich fans tonight. Superb support. Best & loudest we have heard at St Mary's this season. Good luck on Saturday. Should be promoted. Just hope my Saints team can win the play offs & join you in the prem again. Great game tonight." I really think we lifted the players last night throughout the game and especially after we went 2-1 down. And we need this on Saturday, even if it's only Blue Army on repeat.
