It's a shame but Humphreys isn't getting the chances he needs so I suspect he will be sold. If we can get him a Championship loan I would be pleased but it feels like he hasn't shown the progress needed to become a Premier League player.
Clarke will go permanently I am sure. As will Szmodics (as hypocritical as that is from Ashton), Al Hamadi, and Muric.
I thought Ogbene looked good enough for the Premier League at the start of last season. But he is 29 and has not been considered good enough (or fit enough?) for Sheff Utd this season. I would expect him to leave.
Slicker was signed for the future. He will either be 3rd choice with us or loaned again. I suspect the latter.
Baggott is another interesting one. Keep and loan out or sell?
What are the Premier League rules about having a "home grown" player in the squad? Would anyone left qualify? Do we keep one of Humphreys or Baggott to hit that? If so, what does it mean for their progress as players? |  |

I think pretty good by all accounts.
Started 17/ 21 games and been pretty highly rated by them.
For what it's worth he is out of contract but the club has an option.
Should be able to get a couple of million quid for him.

If it was down to me and Humphreys is agreeable, I would get him signed on another deal and loan him to a lower-end Championship club. He has shown he can do it at League 1 level repeatedly hasn't he? | |

No room for sentiment, that cost us last time. If they aren't good enough for us in this league now they shouldn't get games next season or the season after if we go down again.

He clearly isn't at the moment. He is 22. I think he could progress like Jack Taylor (now aged 27) has over the past 3-4 seasons. I would like to see him given a chance because I like the look of what he offers. Dyer was glowing in his praise for him and he has the added bonus of being versatile.

Ogbene, in theory a PL player, have injuries and time maybe limited how effective he could be in the top flight? Fresh start best all round imo
