Anyone watching tonight? Or will Israel have upped their efforts to rig the vote this year?

Well thankfully Israel didn’t win but that must be the worst song to win Eurovision possibly ever.

Imagine trying to rig the thing for the second year in a row, and losing to *this*.

Can’t stand the stupid comp and never watch (though I did catch the Austrian entry tonight which I liked for the choreography) - how was it rigged?

Dread to think of the ructions & repercussions had Israel won - bullet thankfully dodged there.

Edit: I reckon Bulgaria only won because with just one set of audience votes to go, they were the only country close enough to Israel to be able to knock them off top spot, so the audience, bless 'em, elected to go for 'anyone but Israel'.

It doesn't work like that. The votes are already cast by then.

Also, if you "Can’t stand the stupid comp and never watch" how did you manage to enjoy Austria's choreography, watch how the voting fell, and join in on this thread!?

Trust the process. Trust Phil.

1. I was channel-surfing.

2. Was waiting for the news; the show over-ran.

3. I bow to your superior knowledge of tedious things.
