Anyone watching tonight? Or will Israel have upped their efforts to rig the vote this year?

You ain't a beauty but, hey, you're alright.

Hard no from me. But you can guarantee Israel will be doing their best to rig the vote!

Bookies seem to think otherwise - Israel are 5th favourite with SkyBet at 14/1. Feels decent value, unless the EBU have managed to fix the situation.

With their headline sponsor being an Israeli brand, I think I know the answer.

If the English Cricket Board are involved, I really hope the UK do better than usual out of it!

Edit: Damn your edit - now this looks completely out of context!

Haven’t watched that since the 80s. I know the ladies enjoy it but mainly a LGBT thing really. Let em enjoy it, will find a film.

I rather enjoy the snarky commentary and the general silliness, but the final seems to have gotten a little more serious since the semi-finals were introduced, and Norton isn't a patch on dear old Wogan.

I cannot think of anything worse. Endless tedium. A waste of about four hours or however long the torment lasts.

The trouble is Mrs C wants to see it so it’s on. Dear god, will it ever end. Still, I have the internet and my book plus a glass of wine or two and a decent single malt if that runs out. Which it will.

What always makes me laugh is that those who will inevitably be screeching the loudest when it all goes inevitably wrong for blighty in a couple of hours, will say that it's all a waste of licence payers money.

This overlooks the fact that the BBC pays a comparative pittance for it, and you end up with 10 hours of prime time television over three nights, for, it is said, the cost of a couple of episodes of Casualty.

My money is on Australia.. however, they're hindered by having the Union Flag/Jack within their flag. A lot of people in Europe will see them as UK 2.0

Sam Ryder ruined the myth that UK can't do well

Problem is, our songs are absolutely terrible most years

What the hell just happened - last year was ridiculously bad.

Quite an apt title tbh

From what I gather the U.K. entry is akin to The sound of a key up against your brand new car - so I’m sure we will end up with less points than Sheffield Wednesday

I'm fairly sure that, when they joined, it was agreed that they could win, but 2nd place would end up hosting. I assume that's still the case.
