They have still been training since the semi-final defeat, they haven't been allowed to go away on holiday. In fact they probably have more of an advantage, as they know who they would be playing against. Hull would've had to plan to play either. [Post edited 19 May 19:26]

They admitted spying on us - can you imagine what we'd be saying if we hadn't got it over the line? i.e drew against QPR thus missing out by 2 points (that Saints cheated out of us etc...). |  |

Not much to follow. They got spied on but because it came out beforehand and the guy was caught it clearly rattled Southampton and they still manage to miss about 20 golden chances in the first half to settle it and lost the tie.
Are the commission going to reward us 3 points from the April game as well? Could Oxford have stayed up if they had the points when that fixture was played, who else gets another shot?
IMO no chance Boro deserve a one game for the biggest prize in football, especially after watching both those games. Southampton being thrown out I agree with (didn't think I would happen, EFL have been brave) but Hull are the only side to win and advance in the playoffs. [Post edited 19 May 19:27]

The entire season and butterfly effect is kind of interesting here now the EFL have done that it could get interesting.

Not as simple as that - you have to have a proper process. It seems to me the Football League have got this one right. Let's hope the Saints don't appeal, as they have pretty much admitted the indiscretion. Eckert must be going to be dismissed (once the lawyers have done their job). |  |
