Jocks still moaning about not getting a penalty when McGinn threw himself to the ground screaming and throwing his arms into the air it reminded me of the penalty he got for Villa against us some years ago that was a cheat as well.Stroud was the Ref he conned as he dived in a tussle with Alan Judge .

I didn't see the game but I woke up and read a BBC match report of their loss. It just felt like the biggest puff piece I've ever read. As if the whole point was to place Scotland in a wonderful light.

Were they that good? Never saw the game, but I heard later they didn't have a shot on target. And it's Morocco... I know Morocco are no mugs and they've improved a lot, but it's still a team you feel you can have a go at.

I'm sorry, but Scotland go on and on about the arrogant English, but I've never known a nation that loves themselves so much.

Morocco where the better side and deserved the win , Scotland huffed and puffed but at no time did I think they looked likely to score.

It wasn't a penalty but the commentary was ridiculously one-sided, McCoist is a far better summariser when he has no clear support for one side. Very small straws to clutch at.

And I know the commentary is just as biased on England matches and it's quite tedious then too, especially if Shearer and Rooney are anywhere near it.

Scotland were awful on what I saw (two thirds of the game before zzzs). One of the worst teams in the competition.

The penalties? One looked to be, one didn’t. But that’s the way it goes sometimes. McGinn whining about it doesn’t get round the fact that they got what they deserved from the game. Zilch.

I see they have Brazil on Wednesday. Maybe they’ll get something from that. Hirst nodding in the third for his hat trick maybe?

Of course there was a gulf in class but that is to be expected when Morocco are ranked 6th in the World.

And it was always going to be a tough group with Brazil ranked 5th.

Sadly, Scotland just doesn't produce the standard of players that it once did.

But at least they beat Haiti, and might even scrape through with 3 points.

It certainly doesn’t. The days of Souness and the great Kenny Dalgleish are long behind it.

Scotland have some decent midfielders but other than that.

Grant Hanley a starting centre back in the 2026 world cup. A front 2 of Che Adams and Lawrence Shankland. Awful.

It was a very clear pen and baffling / troubling that VAR did not review and say so.

I thought Scotland were awful, loads of BBC articles saying positive things to help them cope.

Scotland had a lot of passion, put in a lot of effort but simply were not good enough.

If he hadn’t have gone down so dramatically the referee might well have had a harder job making a decision. But the swan dive just looked quite ridiculous.

Unless i'm missing something, just looked like he fell over.

It was more of a foul he did to win the ball.........

Supposedly the ref said he didnt give it because the ball was going out of play... Which is just wrong.

For me this is a problem in modern football too many players going down screaming and claiming fouls but yes I'm old school when players would never show an opponent if they had been hurt let alone scream out or go down as if been hit by a sniper.

Amount of fouls he committed against us at Villa park last time, could have been booked 3 times. And he was mouthy. Verdict, no pen.

Morocco sit between Brazil and The Netherlands in the FIFA rankings. 7th in the world.

Those rankings may be flawed but they can at least give a general indication of how teams are doing.

Morocco 7, Scotland 42.

It's fair to say that Morocco can't be dismissed lightly.

I wonder how much it would take to tempt Aston Villa to sell him to us. He's 31 now, so surely wouldn't attract a massive price tag. Would be invaluable experience and leadership for the season ahead though.
