I think a side who keep possession, pin them back and limit them being able to build up around the box and find one twos, such as Spain or Portugal, will cause them problems. |  |

World Cups are littered with brilliant performances during the group and knockout stages but never reached the actual accolade of WC winners.
They are certainly the form team, but that defence struggled when they play against Norway's second team, if Norway had a Haaland on in that game its a different score. Now maybe the defence was thrown by Norway playing the 2nd team, but that French defence cetainly gives teams a chance. |  | | |

France look likely tournament winners
Even when Sweden got at them their defence and holding mids were strong and the front players are just left to do amazing things.
But a 30c games against the Moroccans in Boston, when/if France get past Paraguay will be a hell of a challenge. They were much better that the Dutch for me. |  |
