| SitfcB - Man City (and Brighton / Soton) 10:36 - Jul 27 with 2448 views | tommcd | You'll need to un-ignore me for me to be able to reply to you! You may not see this either, but I tried... In any case, Man City, Brighton and Soton all went to 10+ in diminishing numbers. Wimbledon too (if I remember rightly that was the last of the Cup APP earners). Good luck! EDIT: I stand corrected, Man City didn't make it to 10+ apparently. Also corrected Bromley -> Wimbledon. [Post edited 27 Jul 12:55]

Might do. I actually think you’ll be ok on 20. Last time was different, folks were excited and thought we might do something. There’s a far more pragmatic view this time around I think.

You're correct. I went to every PL match but not the Wimbledon game and missed out on Bromley by being one point short of the max

A small handful went to 15+ for Man City in the last prem season. First away of the season.

Depending on how they implement the Google/Apple Wallet stuff (which is happening for away tickets as well as home ones) then if people can't just pass on an Away ticket easily I think you'll find far more games getting further down the points scale than in previous seasons.

Tricky... On one hand it's less of a novelty this time around, but on the other; a lot of people missed out last time and will have worked a bit harder at earning a few points in the Champ so they got a better chance this time. I'd imagine 20+ will be fine, but much less certain about how far through the Windows they'll go. Last Prem season the magic number was 14pts, if you started there and purchased Brighton (which should have been reasonably comfortable to get as long as you were organised and ready to go at 10am) you were then in the 15+ window, keep purchasing and you'd stay far enough ahead to complete the set for the rest of the season. Below 14 you'd have had a few early successes, but quickly become 'locked out'. I suspect the baseline will be slightly higher for a 'guaranteed run' this time around, maybe starting position of 16/17. [Post edited 27 Jul 12:44]

Sorry, got Bromley and Wimbledon mixed up, I meant to say Wimbledon. I'm not sure if Wimbledon made it to 10+ or not, but it was a definitely a strange one. Pretty sure it was the last of the Cup games to earn an APP, but when the away end was half empty made it look obvious that people had bought a ticket just to earn the point and had no intention of attending. If I remember it right, it also didn't sell out (100 tickets or so were left when the sale stopped) but was never opened to the next window.

Thanks for that, I thought I could remember MC making it to 10+ (Brighton and Soton afterwards definitely did), but it was before I'd started keeping proper track of it.

Missed that they are digital tickets. Will this be for every away game, or just Man Utd?

| SitfcB - Man City (and Brighton / Soton) on 13:09 - Jul 27 with 1241 views | ParisBlue | Given West brom away (the last away game of the season with 2 years counting) went to 15+ with a 2282 allocation, I'd suggest amyone starting at 20+ is guaranteed and 15+ is very likely. There's a core of ~1300 in the highest brackets, but after that it drops off quite quickly. | |

I think Prem rules are for 'all digital' ticketing by 27/28 season, so I expect most will be digital of some variety (QR or NFC) this season.

I think it's now. We've been given an extra year to comply with the other promoted clubs.
