Literally none of that side is likely to start on the opening day. In our promotion season didn't we lose both fixtures to L1 sides? I wonder what GON thinks of the split matches, feels like a very McKenna thing.

Yep, that’s why we’ve got two games, to give as many players as many minutes as possible.

I think there’s only 3/4 on the bench for them.

The second game will be quite a strong side so, as this line up seems to feature squad players & those that will be sold or loaned out this season.

Friendlies are bad at the best of times, but they are really bad on a hot sunny day. You would get a much better match on a cold, rainy day.
