Perhaps instead of instinctively pouring scorn on comments like this we should actually think what has provoked them in the first place ?
Even before McKenna made it clear he wasnt going to be here this season we knew both Taylor and Matisuwa would not be fit for pre-season. Leaving these positions as vital areas of recruitment in the first weeks of the transfer window. We are now into the first week of August, and no amount of ridicule on here is going to convince me anyone is being unduly critical of the clubs recruitment process this summer. |

No-one's "leaving these positions". We get this nonsense every year from several posters... that the signings should be in order of how needed they are. That only happens in computer games.
If you want quality you have to wait for it, battle others teams to get it, wait for higher clubs to get replacements etc. You want a perfect world that doesn't exist.

So nodge is bad because they yoyoed. I get that.
Ice cream is generally a treat so we are getting that on top which is good.
But the season is going to pointless and a car crash. Nobody will care to look at it.
So, in summary, we are going to play some very attractive football, lose every match with no fans at any of our games. But (here is the ice cream on top) we will stay up as Man City get relegated due to their indiscretions, Hull finish 19th on 0 points and Coventry 18th also on 0 pts and we stay up on goal difference.
The only issue I can see is with what happens in the games between Hull, Coventry and Ipswich but I guess that's in keeping with the "logic" of the whole post. |  |
