Honestly, I was kinda rooting for them when they went up with us, but a large proportion of them have this smug arrogance that they're going to absolutely take the Premier League by storm. I saw one of them arguing until he was blue in the face that they will be qualifying for the Europa League this season. He was adamant.
The argument they seem to keep re-hashing is that "we've got super Frank Lampard", "get ready for a Doug King masterclass", and "we've been here before, we know what we're up against."
It's so, so, so painfully deluded.
They brag about what an untouchable side they had as they romped to promotion without a challenger in sight - and yet, their title winning points tally of 95 wouldn't have been enough for them to even finish above us in 2nd the last time we went up.
To be fair, I do want both them and Hull to struggle, as in reality, that's only one other team we have to finish above then, but even more so with Coventry now. I can't put up with it much longer!!! |  |

No need to go out of your way to find people who annoy you. They are riding the crest of a wave having won the Championship last season, easily. They deserve that after the last 25 years, which saw them go one better than us & even be relegated to League 2 (Division 4 in old money).
Right now, they are where we were 2 seasons ago, with no real idea of what is about to hit them. They had a nice, well balanced team, playing good football & were very successful last season, but their failure to add a large number of higher quality players during this window, will almost certainly lead to them spending the entire season in the bottom two. |  |

Let's be honest, a fair few Town fans had us pushing for Europe last attempt.
So, I don't and never would hold optimism against them, it is exciting but reality will soon bite.
They fully deserved to win the league last year, but after our shocking start to the season there was virtually nothing between us for the rest of the season. And we have a much stronger base of players to build on due to our recent season in the PL. |
I fully agree regarding the last time we got promoted. Having just done back to back promotions, so many of our supporters had us as Europe bound. Let be honest we now know what a major jump in quality this promotion is.
With a new head coach and lots of new players we are going to struggle at first, but hoping once gelled we will get atleast to 4th bottom |  | | |

I’ve seen a few independent channels say that Coventry are still the best of the 3 coming up, and rate Frank as a better manager with more Premier League experience too and being practical, Frank did contend with a pretty dire Everton.

All clubs have unbearable fans; the world is full of unbearable people. Having said that, the most immature, cocksure and arrogant supporter I’ve had the misfortune of meeting was Coventry. Leicester have a bit of an issue with entitlement too, so if there is anything in it maybe there’s an underlying regional trait. Or maybe not.
The reality is it sounds like you’re looking on social media which concentrates the knobheads in one place. Mix with them outside the ground and you’d probably find a wide cross section of views. |  |
