I assume we are going to run out of squad slots somewhere so wonder if the LCB/LB will be the same player, or if we sign a full back who is comfortable on either side. |  | | |

You’re thinking of the club developed rule, and yes - if we want 9 on the bench, we need Humphries (earlier in the transfer window I thought Pope might fill this need).

It might not be so easy to get rid of some of the players deemed surplus. We are already 4 above the 25 allowed players and if we get in the 7 some people want that will be 11 to get rid of.
Some will go of course but we don’t want too many players hanging around the squad who never play and may become demotivated |  | | |
