I trust recovery is going well?

Sometimes I think about the frothing lunatics I’ve put on ignore, who will have kept replying to me again and again, but I don’t even realise they exist.

I can’t drive,drink or have the sex for 6 weeks.

I mustn’t lift push or carry anything too heavy for 3-6 months.

But I can attend my butts ok which I’m happy about.👍💪.

Presumably you have to sleep on your back ?
I’m a foetal/side/front sleeper… it was a nightmarish after my quadruple bypass .. first days I was too drugged and sleepy so managed it without too much trouble initially, then it became an arse,but that first time I turned over in my sleep about 4 weeks later was one of the most painful moments ever .. only close to when they pulled the various tubes out of my stomach.. my eyes water just thinking about it.
No riding bikes for you either I’m afraid to say…. For now.

I think the sex ban probably includes "having a funny dream" so "running off to the toilet".

Anyway ahhh how Interesting.. they were very adamant with me about avoiding turning over in bed and / or laying on my front … 1 . Due to the pain… but mainly so the metal wiring could knit as it was a full sternum sawing… I could well be right in thinking things have changed since my work was done back in 2015…so 11 years in that area is like a 100 years in treatment change I guess… it was (old) Papworth so that was their specialist area.
All seems to be going well though for you so carry on and I’ll Jack one for you too 👍🏻 …. Just need a Friday poo thread to get things moving…and excited.. the RIP ones don’t always hit the spot.
