I didn’t see it, but that sounds significant. I’m amazed the jailing of one of his former regional leaders and investigation of five or six more of his MEPs didn’t create more waves. Maybe this will help people see him for what he is (hopefully!).

I still think it’ll be brushed off by his supporters ‘elitist witch hunt’ or similar. I can’t see anything getting through until he’s in shackles!
Thing is, unlike in the USA, where rock steady support for the two main parties is over 40% each and the "undecideds" a very small group, the British electorate has a high proportion of floating voters. The hard core cannot get a party even close to winning an election on their own.
Reform have to capture a sizeable tranche of those floating voters. Precisely the kind of people, not ideological true believers, who are likely to be put off by scandal.
That's without activists using it as material to drive tactical voting campaigns.
