The gist of it is thus:
Macklemore was touring with Ed Sheeran, and spoke out at the Metlife stadium in support of Palestine. Since then, Ed has been forced (or chosen, depending on your stance) to remove him from the tour, after a number of US stadium owners refused to allow the tour to visit if Macklemore was on the bill.
Nothing hateful, nothing anti-semitic, just the mere act of saying 'Free Palestine' on a stage in front of 90,000 people.

TWTD has been just as much about politics as it has been football for the 15+ years I've been posting here. Maybe this isn't the place for you if it bothers you so much, and causes you to antagonise people.

Plenty of people have been here for a very long time. You went off, you can't just come back and demand everything is how it was 30 years ago.
In the late 90s this place was pretty horrible for sexism, "jokes", banter and suchlike and I suspect many don't really want to see a return to that.
It's your issue, not everyone else's.
