No chance we will see all those departures. If we stay up, your list is next summer rather than Jan.
Think we may see a couple of incomings and therefore several will be sold or loaned out to make space in the squad.
As you say, we overpaid on McAteer and Nunez so we won’t get anywhere near what we paid for them. |  |

Whatever happens with Nunez, he was a bargain for the bantz.
Think Kippers will either stay or go for more like £3m, but only if we upgrade. Taylor and Mehmeti probably worth a bit more too, and don't think both Taylor and Nunez will leave.
Sindre is better off here in our environment, and will get some chances and show more and more flashes of his top level quality, develop consistency, self-belief and then be first change for Enciso.

Some of those are too low.
Mehmeti would fetch double that, minimum. Same for Taylor. I could see us getting £10m for the pair.
Can’t see us accepting £4m for McAteer either, he’s not worth what we paid but at his age he’s worth closer to £7m I think. Nunez also a bit light.
£5m across the other 3 probably not unreasonable given their ages, the biggest issue will be their willingness to walk away from PL money which I doubt they will unless it’s made worthwhile.
I can see 4 or 5 going in Jan, hard to say which ones but depends on the level of interest I guess. |  | | |

It depends where we are at in the league as well what happens in the Jan window regardless all of the below will be moved on with the main question mark over Egeli as no one really seems to have worked him out or what to do with him.
The other problem is what teams realistically will buy the other players and pay the salaries. Maybe Nunez would go to Europe, the rest are a problem with the financial restraints.

Wouldn't it be better to loan some out..... in the unlikely chance we get relegated?
They might come in useful next season. Why sell good quality Championship players at a big loss when you might have to replace them a few months later... and we'll be paying top dollar, too.

Wouldn’t be at all surprised if we saw Jaden leave.
For him - he wanted to go in the summer and his injury may have scuppered that.
For GON - it’s clear Maeda and Fatawu are his preferred right options. On the left, he doesn’t perhaps trust Clarke starting, so we are just left with Jaden as the starting option.
So if we can perhaps get £20+ for him, it gives us the money needed to go and get a new left wing starter | | | |

Because the chances of offloading them all for decent money is nil so we need to have a selection of possibilities. We may need to loan some ( not Sindre ) and I think that we would get more out of Ogbene in the team. We do need to strengthen our squad because once we lose first teamers through injury or formation we look vulnerable. We are never going to be able to attract a full squad of PL players but need to gentĺy upgrade what we have and maximising the weaker players. | | | |

E.g. if we have paid £10m for Nunez, and gave him a 4 year deal, as we are in his second year, unless we get £5m minimum, it is a loss on the books.
Same applies to Kipre, Akpom and Macateer, which is why it is unlikely any of those will go. As their current value is likely less than we can accept, to not take a loss.

It feels early to be having this conversation; our league position could look very different one way or other during Jan. They all needs games that much is clear but some could be loans. I also dont know what we really have in the bank to fund further additions and is that time useful to us when the picture will not be clear. Kipre and Taylor are standouts, miles from first team level in PL, and even if relegated you dont see them as starters, therefore likely time to find new homes. | |
