Gardening advice - potting 13:42 - May 12 with 1347 viewsLord_Lucan

I've bought a load of new pots. They are quite tall and the plants (mainly bedding but possibly the odd perennial) will not need anything quite so tall so I am going to fill 50% with a filler - broken pots etc.

Now here's the thing. I've just noticed that the pots don't have any drain holes in them, do I need to drill some holes or will they be ok as they are bearing in mind the plants won't be rooted at the bottom.

i would always add drainage. whilst your filling them over time it will settlee, so its best to have the drainage at the bottom.

No need

Just have a slash in them. Rotate pot slashing every night.

Much better than Miracle Grow.

Definite info.

Ghost Ship and Vino Tinto

Seriously works though and is a "Top Tip"

Full of nitrogen.

Also keeps cats away, and those pesky manky foxes.
