Is a striker that can play out wide as well.

Not sure about him really - can't say that he really excites me!

If true, certainly not unhappy with this bit of business. Just hope the deal can get finalised before Sunderland get involved. Works hard and will get us goals. Be interesting to find out stats of Garner and Waghorn's strike partnership at Rangers.

Only 27? That's a great price, could be a good player in this squad

Will get us goals... a few, maybe, but not what I would call prolific, really (prior to his spell at Rangers)

2007—2010 Sunderland 6 (0)
2008—2009 → Charlton Athletic (loan) 7 (1)
2009—2010 → Leicester City (loan) 43 (12)
2010—2014 Leicester City 59 (8)
2011 → Hull City (loan) 5 (1)
2013 → Millwall (loan) 14 (3)
2014 → Wigan Athletic (loan) 9 (3)
2014—2015 Wigan Athletic 29 (5)
2015— Rangers 57 (27)

Think it's 16 in 41 for waghorn and 7in31 for Garner

I'd agree on that, he works hard but he seemed to be very inconsistent

If he has developed then fair play but certainly not someone I'd expect to be ripping it up

I do think MM has lacked a more physical workhorse with Pitman being the polar opposite to that really

Alcohol is the answer but I can't remember the question!

44 goals in 78 games (63 starts) is good going at any level. He's a real McCarthy type as well, a grafter, versatile.

I won't believe it until Dolly confirms it for me.

I note that there is an E in Rangers.

Can't be true as he doesn't have an E in his name!

I'd say 44 goals in 78 appearances with Rangers (63 starts, 15 subs) isn't inconsistent.

Happy with that. He will have worked with Garner, so it looks like we'll have gone and bought a front two!

I agree but I sense he's the sort of player who'd flourish under MM

I suppose they were hardly crying over Garner going either but... think I would have preferred Woodrow. Or Akinde.

But I thought we weren't gonna have to Wikipedia him?

Obviously, i know of him but not well enough to not give him a quick google. I'm not sure what to make of his stats tbh.

Loved at Leicester though
