4-1 home to Leeds 0-0 away at Bolton 2-0 home to Middlesbrough 4-2 away at Brentford And the day where we peaked under McCarthy that was 3-0 to Charlton
We were comfortably sitting 2nd in the league. Had a transfer window shortly after the Charlton match in which a bit of investment would have given us a chance to get out of this goddamn, poxy league.

Echo Brentford away on Boxing Day - possibly the best performance we’ve had since he took charge (either that or Boro at home the same season)
Didn’t go to the Watford game but went ape in my Saturday teams clubhouse when Chaplow’s goal flashed up. Similar with Edwards goal at Derby when we were fighting to stay up
Admittedly, despite some of the overall successes struggling to think of too many other great moments - which probably helps rationalise some of the feelings on here towards him
EDIT - just seen the post above, completely forgot about Berra’s winner against Derby

1) Feeling like we had "our" club back after the Keane and Jewell eras. I still feel that way, despite results. 2) Forming consistent squads of players who actually care. 3) Play offs 4) Countless last minute winners: Watford, Charlton, Leeds, Bolton, Derby, Villa etc etc etc. 5) Brentford on Boxing Day 6) Meeting MM and TC during the 'Christmas' present season 7) Bringing my dad and I closer together by making football fun again (albeit not permanently - fun football I mean) 8) Getting rid of Chopra 9) Making Chambers captain 10) Sunderland 5:2 the other week 11) Saving us from relegation during his first season 12) Newcastle at home last year 13) Getting to witness Fraser first hand
In hindsight, there will be a lot to look back fondly on.

I really hope the people on here that openly say they hate the bloke (Texters for example) will in a few years time look back on it as a whole and remember some good times.
Huws at villa, we were actually sitting in the Villa home seats, and we did celebrate when Huws scored. There was about 7 of us, we all stood up cheering amongst many villa fans, we quickly got escorted out by stewards because of the home fan up rage.
Brentford 4-2, atmosphere was fantastic and it did feel like we could trounce the league that year.
More recently, Millwall 3-4 similar to Brentford IMO. First time at the Den, violent atmosphere, last minute winner too, fantastic.

violent atmosphere?
I've been to the Den a few times including the 4-3 this season and I thought that was the tamest Den crowd I'd witnessed. Considering it was a night game and they'd just lost to a last minute goal in a thriller I was somewhat suprised. They only started making some noise at 3-3 with 10 mins left.

Oh my god I’ve forgotten Millwall this year too

Going to the match thought Boro' would comfortably win this encounter, but we played so well that afternoon and won with a bit to spare. Tabb's header was terrific to watch and we played some decent football that day too.
