Wherever it is, clearly they're going to win the league and cup, as the sun shines out of Mick's bottom.

Wherever it is I recommend he parks at Gatwick. It's the only sensible option.

I could easily see it being Sheff Wed. Or as someone else said one of the relegated clubs, like WBA.

It feels a bit easy to say any number of clubs would be interested. After all it's been a long old time since he had any success in getting out of the league.

In the spirit of reconciliation and happiness at the end of the Banter Era (RIP) and as a result of promotion I have cleared out my ignore list. Look forwards to reading your posts!

I would argue he's raised his profile further given the job he's done here / resources given.

Agreed. I think the game has moved on in the last 5-10 years & Mick is now seen as a Championship version of fire-fighters like Fat Sam. He'll not see it that way & he definitely won't be short on offers, but I think he'll be quite picky.

His Wolves connection will have him on the back foot from day 1.

Of course HE would, same as he wouldn't have any qualms about taking over at West Brom.

But with the Budgies and the Baggies fans, he would be on the back foot from day 1.

Doing a good job without resources doesnt prove you could do a good job with them. Chairmen and Owners may believe that Mick can't work with more expensive high-maintenance players.
