With the possibility of signing Norwood it got me thinking about Tranmere and Cresswell.

Are there teams we have made multiple good signings from and ones we’ve made multiple bad ones from?

For every good signing I thought of I couldn’t think of another good one from same club.

Celtic? Tony Mowbray and Daryl Murphy. Though Murphy had a loan spell with us prior to his time at Celtic.

Paul Mariner and, erm, cough, David Norris.

No idea when I began here, was a very long time ago. Previously known as Spirit_of_81. Love cheese, hate the colour of it, this is why it requires some blue in it.

On the negative side of that equation, Accrington Stanley stand proud and tall.

Portsmouth:

Ray Crawford, Mick Mills, Adam Webster - also, I think, for such as PJH, Blue Islander etc -Reg Pickett.

Yes, Reg Pickett replaced in the team by Billy Baxter half way through 1960/61 Second Division winning season.

Portsmouth disbanded their youth team otherwise we might never have got Mick Mills-legend, great and leader.

With Mills and Crawford we got two players who became ITFC greats.
