Imagine being asked to “watch your tone” by a government who spent last year using language like surrender act and setting up a “war cabinet” for Brexit like a group of spotty teenagers playing Call of Duty.
Dr Rosena Allin-Khan told to "watch her tone" by Hancock on 18:38 - May 5 by BlueBadger
Imagine being the sort of person who'll turn up to defend So-Useless-He-Makes-Rhyming-Slang-Look-Competent in a minute.
Seems that the rule is that expressing concern that the government's incompetence has had a detrimental impact is political point scoring, but defending incompetence because it's from the party you support is okay.
Unfortunately, I've been imagining this for years.
An admittedly clumsy "gotcha" question (though the underlying meaning and truthful emotion is clear) batted away by a government not willing to take responsibility.
And repeat.

Watch her tone or watch my tone shouldn't be in quotes, that's not what was said, but he's been rattled there and come out with a condescending remark which makes him look foolish.

It's legitimate to highlight the anti-semitism, but he had no moral high ground from which to do so, considering he was defending Boris Johnson.
What's pathetic is that he's clearly just remembered at the last moment that candidates were required by the tory election machine to raise the issue, so he randomly throws it out there, in effect saying 'Enough about nurses. Anti-semitism'.
