I encountered the strange name of a West Indian chap whose parents hadn't grasped the cultural trope in the Caribbean of naming boys after famous British politicians (Winston, Gladstone etc).
They chose a famous politician, certainly. Sadly not British. They saddled the lad with the name 'Hitler Grant'. | |
