Any new kit dates yet??? 23:17 - Jun 15 with 1903 views | kizaitfc | Wonder if that is going to be part of ME reimbursement plan. Give out refunds in itfc vouchers and then most use it to buy the new kit

Any new kit dates yet??? on 11:20 - Jun 16 with 1632 views | textbackup | anyone thinking this will happen hasn't a clue how ME works. the refunds will be £1 monthly payments, or bars of chocolate free at future games* *200 limit per game, and need to claim this by 11am on a match day

You can have your £50 (or however much) in cold hard cash, or there'll be options which keep the money within the club in return for a greater value such as £75 off your next season ticket, £60 in vouchers, or suchlike.

Is it allowed to think both the manager and the owner are completely clueless? Just asking as it'd be really upsetting to me to lose my super fan status.
Any new kit dates yet??? on 12:54 - Jun 16 with 1507 views | Illinoisblue | Someone on twitter asked about the new kits and got a very uppity reply from the club shop people; basically saying new kits are a huge amount of work and you cant rush the release of them. It’s a fooking football kit not a cure for cancer.

Considering that they said they were 'hoping' for a June release, it does seem an unnecessarily terse response to a reasonable question. [Post edited 16 Jun 2020 13:18]

I raised in the fans forum why aren't they released around last home game of the season like they used to be, but told that it is to do with fact that the current one would be a 9-10 month product as only came out in July. But seems strange, you have a captive audience to collect them on last day, lots of people who only come to Ipswich for games and won't be back until August......and kids want them to wear throughout the summer, and adults on their summer holidays etc. Plus if you carry on doing them in May then it is only 1 shirt that becomes a shorter shelf life product anyway And club shop always go on about how these kits are decided a year in advance etc - how hard is it to launch them?

Nope it's not. Look at how good a job they'd done before this season and then hang your head in shame at your impulsivity

I blame Evans for us ended up in League One and Lambert for us being there for the long haul now. Tell me why you still think he's the man for the job?

Funny that, considering the shirts are basically chosen a year in advance. IIRC, the away strip this season was chosen by Paul Hurst (think EADT reported that).

Whilst that was previously the case (personally thought a good marketing ploy as people would want them for holidays etc), I think it also hinges on kits being available and supplied by the kit manufacteurs. In this season's case (ignoring Covid), I suspect the likes of Adidas would have ordinarily been concentrating on Euro 2020. And whilst Town say the kits are known a year in advance, I suspect it's just that they know who the supplier is - not the design (and perhaps sponsor) that perhaps isn't released to the club until much later. Whilst the end of the season release sounds good, I guess from a marketing point of view in could be impacted on how well/bad the season has been generating interesting. Whereas, waiting until pre-season a lot of people may have forgotten the previous year's faux pas and are looking to the new campaign with that typical footie fan optimism of "it'll be our year" etc and may create a bigger impact on sales. But I certainly don't believe the physical design is known a year in advance, let alone Adidas being in a position to provide that early. [Post edited 16 Jun 2020 15:55]

What is it about people's keenness to wear football shirts on holiday? They're not normally the most comfortable things to wear in the heat. Wouldn't cross my mind to pack a football shirt to take on holiday.
