Your ideal Premier League (and Championship) 20:18 - Jun 22 with 1732 views | dominiciawful | Looking at the bottom of the Premier League yesterday and seeing my preferred three to get relegated of Norwich, Bournemouth and West Ham all in the bottom three, albeit briefly, had me thinking again about which clubs I'd ideally have making up the top 20 in England. Based on your own preferences and taking into account respective histories, league finishes over time, trophies won (or avoided), appearances in European competition, stadium sizes, fan bases and so on, or ignoring those all if you wish, which teams would you place in the top flight? And which 24 would you place in the second tier? (if you'd like to) Probably depends a little bit on which sides were up there when you were growing up as those can perhaps stick in the mind. I'd want West Ham and Norwich in Div1

Managed to post that reply all in one go as the page refreshed! Never done that before! I assume by Div 1 you mean the Premier League with us so we can play them. As long we are competitive I would agree. [Post edited 22 Jun 2020 22:42]

I assume he meant league one as the quoted post had West Ham already in the Prem. I think as long as we were in it, I'd be happy with Norwich in the Prem too. A good local derby thrives on teams being of an equal level. In the case of Shawsey's post, I'd probably switch Birmingham for Derby too. [Post edited 22 Jun 2020 23:01]

With Lambert in charge we'd struggle to finish midtable.

You can see the final day headlines. Leigh RMI qualify for Europe as Dog and Duck narrowly squeeze out Lidl to stay up. Crufts XI and Lidl join already-relegated Ipswich Town in dropping to the second tier.

Be fair, at least we finished above Crufts XI after beating B&Q in the final day dead rubber. Poor old Lidl won’t be happy swapping places with their arch nemesis, Aldi Wanderers

We don't play well on tarmac car parks. There's even more in the second tier. We're doomed.
