Koln have a Mosque on their kit and someone isn't happy 11:42 - Aug 11 with 4100 viewsMullet

Here's the kit launch video from last week

I couldn't see if it was some quirk of the lines or something or on the sleeve and I was missing it. Turns out they have a skyline of Cologne incorporated into the front of the red away and that features the outline of a mosque.

https://fc.de/en/fc-info/news/detailpage/details/away-and-third-kits-for-2020-21

They've tweeted this in the past few minutes, which seems to be spot on. The only thing they've got wrong is that third kit and use of a certain bird.

He also has yellow and green connections so I suspect he'll be demanding a pink shirt with Ipswich mosque replacing the badge.

There are a lot of angry people in this world aren't there?I

I bet most don't even know what exactly they are angry about, in some cases I wonder if subconsciously they are angry with themselves, can't work out how to channel the energy of that anger positively and become nasty spiteful little turds.

Imagine if Koln had a pink kit with a mosque on it... Then they'd risk upsetting yet another group of people, assuming they link a nice vibrant colour with their own hate agendas.

aren't Dusseldorf their rivals?

I like the symmetry to that one, are there as many Norwich fans going to Koln as we go to Dusseldorf or have they just copied our idea?

Certainly is.

It is their city presumably so why should they feel no connection or demand it be erased? I was staggered when I saw how hard to spot the mosque is too. Imagine that winding you up.

Also more clubs should do shirts with local culture/landmark themes. I didn't like Chelsea's one but this one from Bordeaux is still my favourite I think

It would be one of the few things he's done here that I would genuinely applaud, if only for the trolling value it would carry.

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.
