Todays team.... 13:04 - Aug 25 with 2284 viewsMatt_Netherlands

Town: Holy, Donacien, Chambers, Nsiala, Ward, Dozzell, Downes, Bishop, Sears, Drinan, Edwards.

Subs: Cornell, Ndaba, Huws, Nolan, Judge, El Mizouni, Folami, Smith.

Some notable absentees? Skuse, Jackson, KVY, Woolf and others. Doesn’t mean a new side for the second half. Quite a strong West Ham side....

West Ham: Randolph, Coventry, Cresswell, Balbuena, Alese, Soucek, Yarmolenko, Anderson, Haller, Wilshere, Diangana.

Subs: Roberto, Cardoso, Lewis, Kemp, Odubeko.

Well Jackson, KVY and Woolfie all nailed on starters so giving game time to some fringe players and Skuse is just old.

RIP Sir Bobby

Can understand KVY sitting off as he's coming back from a groin injury but seems like a strangely weak team to play against a prem side with only two preseason games left. Hopefully we see players like Woolfenden, Dobra and KVY back in the team on Saturday against Cambridge and then we can have a better understanding on our best team.

Still, it's sporting of Lambo to keep giving teams a chance to get a goal or two by including Toto in the side.

May yet field a different starting XI for second half

So from the first half subs and those not listed at all, something like:
Cornell
KVY
Wolf
Nbada
Kenlock
Huws
Nolan
Skuse
Judge
Jackson
Lankester

Bear in mind we have two additional warm up games against Brizzle Rovers and Arsenal U21s before the League season starts. With crowded fixture list this season, we do not want any cup runs....

And yet Toto has done fine in pre-Season by all accounts.

I couldn't see a way back for him and favoured/favour selling/free transfer and replace. But he's obviously settled back in well and doing well so do we need to keep slating him for no reason?

Ah yes, the squad rotation that so helped our league form.

Nothing to do with squad rotation but building up squad fitness levels before season starts.

ITS PRE SEASON. Please name a side playing a settled side in pre-Season? Go on, I double dare you...

I have precisely zero faith in the man, right now. Meaningless re-season games ain't gonna change that.

Because he made those mistakes that one time right. I agree with you, i think he's been fine and deserves the shot, he has something to offer.

I guess it was only a matter of time before a championship club looked at his 3 goals in that league and snapped him up.

Meanwhile at Wycombe West Ham are fielding:

David Martin, Ben Johnson, Baptiste, Ogbonna, Masuaku, Cullen, Noble, Antonio, Fornals, Lanzini and Jarrod Bowen.

Managed by Alan Irvine so it looks like Moyes is at Portman Road.
