His run and drive into the box was really good and utilising the strength that he has, his pace. Sadly he doesn't do that enough but if he could it is the thing to offset the failings in his game, as I've said before it is similar to Theo doing it at the top level. He even got a hat trick doing it.
There is no way in the world that he looked up with a cross in that position and decided to pick out a bloke that was 10 yards outside the box when there were 3 players in and around the box. If you want to make a case for him you need to pick the bits he does well and not over stretch it.

I also haven't said anything against him in this game. It was a good finish and he has been more involved. He is using what he has available to him in a better way, it doesn't change what he can and can't do though. Not a chance he meant to pick out Chambers but if he manages to work hard and to find a way to be involved and use his pace i am happy.

It's been clear since his first game that Edwards has poor first touch a lot of the time. If he had a good first touch consistantly, he'd be nowhere near this division. [Post edited 10 Oct 2020 16:11]
