The bed wetting on here after one loss is insane.

You spelt 'standard' wrong.

I've not even checked the news comments yet, might do that when I'm a bit bored later.

We were very good for 28 minutes.

First decent side we have played, and we are back to the same as last season. Clueless.

It’s more to do with the way we lost.

I’m not sure there’s much ‘bed wetting’ going on (haven’t seen the news comments mind) and ‘people getting pissed off about a poor performance and heavy defeat’ is a pretty natural thing to happen in football.

Not sure why we always have about 12 threads like this where people seem to think that the above is solely confined to TWTD and is the only place this sort of reaction occurs.

We played crap and got stuffed by the first decent team we’ve come across which is worryingly familiar to last season’s disaster. It’s not an unreasonable reaction for people to be concerned.

Just because I don't care doesn't mean I don't understand.

Blackpool were a decent team... or so we were told until we stuffed them.

Indeed. I've said a few times that the start of this season has been similar to the start of last season. Not really putting together good 90 minute performances but generally being solid and having enough quality to put teams to the sword when we play well for 20 minutes or a half. We've generally played average to poor opposition so far and it's a worry that we've been hammered the first time we've played a side that is more or less nailed on to finish top half.

We have to remember that Lambert had to be told by ME to stick to a formation and to pick a settled side, he's not had a massive revelation over the past 6 months and transformed into Pep Guardiola. Last night was worryingly bad.

Utter rubbish. Once again I'll point out you said Blackpool was a tough test that we'd lose 2-0. Now we've stuffed them 'oh they were rubbish as well'.

You move the goalposts to suit your argument. Pathetic and so transparent.

I'm sure you'll call me Dolly or Chutney rather than addressing this inconsitency in your argument.

To be fair , we were all told Blackpool were a decent side before the match.
But a look at the table now says otherwise.

it's been pretty pathetic to be honest Joe, one loss and they all come out of the woodwork.

Clearly a disappointing result and performance, but everyone was saying yesterday that we didn't fancy our chances, add the fact that we have no fit strikers it's no great surprise we struggled.

Lets hope we can start bringing back a few key players this weekend.

My biggest concern is our injury toll, it's causing us so many issues, and lets be honest, none of us expected us to have Nsiala and Wilson playing before the season started, Chambers at RB, Kenlock at LB and they have all done a reasonable job to give us a great start.

Indeed, before the season started if someone had said that team would be facing Donny away, we'd all be expecting it to get slaughtered.

I also don't think 4 hours sat on a coach is good preparation for a football match.

Not sure I follow this, unless I've missed some posts - yesterday's performance was entirely consistent with the rest of Lambert's reign thus far. To point that out seems fair enough.

After last season, he shouldn't be here any more.

It was never going to take much to turn the tide back against him.

Lambert Out.

What's the point in keep banging on about last season? He is here, so let's just get on with it. Up until 30 mins into last night's game everything was rosy.

I won't panic after one result but I do wish Lambert would stop insisting that we play out from the back with sideways passing. We're not good enough to do it and it and often puts us under pressure.
