Be fair no one told him Accrington beat Doncaster and it was I only two days ago.
He has other things on his mind, other battles to fight, he has been concentrating on knocking his own players, Downes, Nolan , Jackson, plus anyone in the press. Plus the little matter of going on Talk Sport to promote himself, ready for his next job.

I thought Bishop's comment about only needing to put a run together was particularly inane too. Strictly speaking true, but don't they recognise how we are performing and how that makes putting a run together that's better than those above us exceedingly unlikely. We are 5 points off with no game in hand but we are only 8 points behind the team we have 1 game in hand on and we have 3 games in hand on Hull (albeit we are 12 points behind them).
That is only a few days after it was true that we were 4 points off the play-offs with a game in hand.
It just goes to show how rapidly we are falling away. |  |
