Because Lambert has no man management skills and holds a grudge.
I don't think Jackson's a world beater, but the treatment of him is petulant at best. Janoi is another one, Lambert came here with pre conceptions from his Villa days and nothing was going to changer that. Any proper manager worth their salt would've sat him down on day 1 and said its water under the bridge, clean slate etc. Not Lambert, instead he claims him to be a centre half and then never plays him there. |  |
