I've just had an ad in my facebook feed from a supermarket for a steak and ale pie pizza. Instead of tomato sauce it has ale and mushroom sauce. It has pie lids in the topping.

The trouble is as much as a chef I am I have pretty bad IBS problems, so there's so many things I love but can't eat now (or can eat but will be pissing out of my arse every half hour next day). I used to take the piss of old people wanting bland, tasteless shyt. | |

I remember rather rudely announcing to my mum and her man some years ago when they came to stay for a few days, that they would be ok because I had bought in plenty of soup and sardines.
Because, as I told them, I know old people like sardines.
