We missed Bennetts tonight.

I agree with many his final ball is shocking. But he is direct. He does scare fullbacks and he does create space for others

He would have fitted right in. Another player who can’t pass to a teammate.

If anyone even remotely considers Bennett’s was a possible answer, I’d seriously question what the question could be

From where I was sitting we found quite enough blind alleys with the players on the pitch.

When Town have been playing so badly for so long, it's not surprising how much better the players who aren't playing become.

He does often occupy 2 defenders. But given he can’t pass a football we can’t make the most of that so it’s a bit of a moot point.

You are consistent I'll say that. If you think Bennett's would have changed anything in that match then it ranks with your we are not rubbish line earlier.

Worst shout of the evening klaxon. The level of football inexperience to draw that conclusion is staggering.

you're right, the other options chosen were much better

As I say, Bennetts is frustrating, but whilst he's end product is rubbish at least he has something that scares defenders and has got us going more direct which is a lot more than the likes of Edwards etc do despite their 'better' end products

Your statement is contradictory - with no end product there’s nothing to scare defenders. The last thing we needed last night was a winger who has too many touches, who can’t track runners or create anything on a sticky, bobbly, heavy pitch in windy Fleetwood!

Despite his weaknesses, and whether you like it or not, he has been when selected in alot of our more attacking threats.

That's not to say he is someone I would want next season, no no no, but from those available at the moment, yes I'd rather see him than them

Yeah exactly, that’s partly why we’re not scoring from open play. This conversation is non-sensical.
