From the media similar to PL?
He's obviously dealing with it in a lot more of a diplomatic way than PL but he keeps alluding to journalists trying to lead him into saying something negative about the players.
Frankly I don't see what more those asking the questions can do given the lack of positives currently, but just hope there isn't a rift developing between manager and press. |  |

From what I have seen is PC is a really honest and passionate manager who also is self aware enough to know he needs to zip it at times.
I am loving his honesty and would love to have a pint with him and hear what he really thinks behind the scenes. From his interview tonight I think we can piece together what is going on, just hope he sticks with it as I do feel with backing in the summer he can get us back on track. |  | | |

This is most probably it isn't it.
I'm not trying to plant any seeds of doubt at all tbh. I don't even necessarily think so, but just noticed it a little bit in two most recent pressers about warding the press off any negative waters.
But as you say, more frustration at how utterly cr@p we are. | |

Dealing with media who are looking to trip you up all the time must be a delight after your team has done what Ipswich did tonight. They are his team so his responsibility now so has to take it.
I just got the sense of contained frustration from him. I can’t think he’s ever had to work with a more unprofessional bunch of wasters in his whole career.

Hes come in to a club taking over from "one of the worst managers in our history" and managed to make us worse on the pitch. He's hardly going to be jumping for joy after a match where yet again he's not got anything out of the players / players had no interest in playing for him etc etc. | | | |

I am sure he is irritated, but not because the questions are being asked - but because of the fact they need to be asked.
