I don't want to go all Sparks here, but I've often found that some of the most devout Christians I've met have major underlying morality issues. It seems to be a similar type of overcompensating and creating a front I think.
(Not saying this applies to all of course- religion is a way of life for my wife's side of the family being as they're from a rural Welsh community, and they're all as sound as a pound. As are the vast majority of devout people I suspect). | |

Agree, they could have stuck it on ITV 2 or something. A lot of effort went into it from a lot of people. I feel sorry for the writers and anyone who was working their first primetime role.
