Scots can still vote in a General Election even if they left the UK 15 years ago

but are they eligible to vote in a Scots referendum having left Scotland only a month or so before ? Are non Scots temporarily living in Scotland allowed to vote in a Scottish referendum ?

I suspect Sturgeon et al, are merely knocking at a door they know won't be, and don't want, opened.

Personally I would be greatly tempted to call their bluff as a bluff it is.

There's certainly an argument to grant them the vote now when it's more winnable than in a few years when the next round of austerity kicks in.
