The predicted line up is a bit different from what I'd pick (I'd choose Grealish over Foden, Bellingham over Phillips and White over Mings) but the main thing is that we're playing 4 at the back, which is really good. I've never been convinced with the back 5, post-World Cup.
Despite not thinking Mings is in our best XI it will be very good to see an ex-ITFC player in the England squad at a tournament. Previous generations must have been used to it back in the 1980s but I can't remember any myself, barring the odd loanee perhaps. |  |
