What do we think is an acceptable points return for the rest of October?
Personally I think Cook has to start getting consistent performances and results now and it has to be an absolute minimum of 10 points. Anything less and I would be saying "thanks for what you have done, but time for a change" if I were the owners. |  | | |  |

We have to get momentum rather than setting a points total, but of course points should come with momentum.
If go into November climbing the table, have cut the points difference to the play-offs by 4 or 5 points and playing well, I'll be pleased. | |

I'd suggest there isn't much scope for Cook to have many more Accrington type results, because of what has gone before.

We have to be looking for 10 points from each group of 5 games. If we get 3 wins in every 5 for the next few months we will be there or thereabouts for the run in.
Less than that makes even a Play Off place very difficult after the disappointing start.
But we shouldn't become a baying mob at every defeat. There will be more defeats between now and May. | | | |
