I'm quite convinced we've got our blip out of the way now. If the past few seasons are anything to go by then those at the top of the pile this early on will have a wobble.

I wouldn’t say “average”, but more an indication of just how “tough” this division is . Everyone can beat everyone, and it’s who is most resilient to the physical nature of this division. If you don’t first win the “ battle”, you’ve less chance of winning the game. Pompey game first half was a typical example IMHO.

I see Col U finally broke the 3k attendance barrier tonight but are losing 3-1. I’d be fuming if I was a fan. They’ve always been a bit rubbish but filling most of the squad with our aging rejects feels like the laziest decision ever.

I see Col U finally broke the 3k attendance barrier tonight but are losing 3-1. I’d be fuming if I was a fan. They’ve always been a bit rubbish but filling most of the squad with our aging rejects feels like the laziest decision ever.


It really does - lots of nonsense about the likes of Skuse and Chambers over the years, but even their biggest advocates would accept that they were well past their best. Maybe adding one of Chambers or Skuse for experience would be OK, but loading the squad with them was so obviously a bad decision.

It is def concerning that Dobra can't get minutes for a team that doesn't score.

drinan and hawkins have become relative goal machines in league 2!
