His record is too good for Colchester to be fair.

Colchester Chairman: "Luke, Cole, Freddie, I've got someone I'd like you to meet. He's very keen to work with you and I'm sure you'll give him your full support. It's your new manager... PAUL COOK!"

He’ll bide his time and get a L1 job.
The right club where he fits in and he’ll probably do well. Maybe even sign some misfits from us that didn’t fit in. Think Cook for now has still credit in the bank.

Anyone else think Chambers and Skuse could get the Colchester job? With them buying all our players are those two the go-betweens and have the chairman’s ear.

He still lives in Ipswich I believe, doesn't he? so wouldn't be a bad move for him.

How about Paul Hurst? A good place to rekindle his career. Knows the players, perfect fit.

Actually, I wish them no harm. I actually think that if Chambers and/or Skuse want a career in management Col U wouldn’t be a bad place to start.

I do feel sorry for Cook. He had a lot of credit in the bank and was linked to half the teams in the Championship whenever a vacancy came up. He was offered jobs at a few clubs and rejected them as he felt they weren't right for him.

Then he comes here when his stock is high and doesn't last a year.
