Good to see a realistic outcome. Change of club culture is needed in the summer, we can’t keep going around in circles. Two managers who were previously very good at this level have failed drastically. There needs to be a total culture change, we need to recruit players with a totally different mentality, players that will go above and beyond to pick up points and not happily cruise to mid table. People talk up this squad but they’re absolutely bang average, they aren’t special, and a few of them are taking the pis here. We need a change. If we hang on to these we won’t go anywhere next season. I am not sure we should have signed Walton either, he’s not done amazingly better than the four other keepers we’ve used since relegation but that’s not allowed to be pointed out because “signings yay”. What a mess Cook made of this, lunacy again, niave owners to allow it to happen and acted far too late to save it.

Exactly this.
The table for all games played since McKenna took charge (28 Dec) currently has us top albeit with a few teams having 1 or 2 in hand.
If we finish top six in that table come May and make the right tweaks to the squad in the summer there is no reason we can’t challenge for promotion next season. |  | | |
