I mean, this is literally the most piss-poor, tone deaf excuses of them all.
Which is, quite the achievement, really.

Stuff this government, stuff anyone who voted for them stiff anyone who STILL supports them.

I'm one of the people who was blamed for getting Paul Cook sacked. PM for the full post.

I'm just disappointed that the British government and its officials are buying wine from an off licence. A lack of wine in the boardroom was once considered a crisis at a world-famous football club...

What is the world coming to.

I'm glad to see Loire bottles increasing in number but surely a massive oversight to only have 25?

What if I came to visit?

You'd get a cup of tea and a couple of biscuits.

Poll: This new lockdown poll - what you reckon?

1
Torygraph getting desperate on 22:16 - Jan 30 with 1441 viewsITFC_Forever

Govt officials having a few drinks after work is of course absolutely fine….. no-one cares about that, virtually everyone does it now and again, some more often than others.

Complete non-story…. Unless we are in a lockdown, and you are the ones who have told everyone else in the country not to meet for any social occasion.
And the monarch you are sworn in to serve is about to go to her husband of many decades’ funeral and sit alone while she obeys the laws they set.
THAT is why it’s a big deal… literally laughing behind her back and taking the p1ss. And that’s before you get on to the thousands and thousands of people who were not able to see their own sick and dying relatives as they also followed the rules.

F*** them and anyone who votes for this shameful excuse of a group of so-called leaders. They are corrupt, incompetent, greedy arseholes.

It's not just that, it's the fact that he lied to Parliament about it, attempting to deny that that parties happened, or that he knew about them, or that he went (and so on).

Yes indeed…. As you say, that’s before you get to the lies and misleading all and sundry including Parliament.

I'm hoping that the electorate will remember all of this come the next election.
It's the picture of the Queen at Philips funeral and knowing that No10 were getting pissed. That is the crucial link that the opposition must keep hammering home every chance they get. It's the one issue that Tories can't escape from.
Sure, it's whataboutery and it'll be 3 to 4 years in the past when the next GE is held but it's a vote loser for the Tories par excellence.

Don't believe a word I say. I'm only kidding. Or am I?

Using an image of Brenda for political purposes would be jumped upon and criticised as disrespectful of the monarchy.

A cynic would advise doing it unattributively via targeted facebook memes via Cambridge Analytica.

You'd use the photo once.
The right-wing press would say that's disrepectful.
You would say but whatabout Johnson and No10 - that was way more disrespectful.
Point made.
And the right-wing press could not justify saying it wasn't.
And oh sh*t, a 3 year-old topic is dominating the GE and all those Sun readers have already decided who they're voting for and it ain't the Tories.

You're wrong (IMO) and Starmer's not that stupid.

They'll use tragic stories of ordinary people's sacrifices and pain against pictures of Johnson et al smirking and partying.

Using Brenda would lose them 10 points in the polls.
