The death toll in my garden.

4 posts and three fence panels. Off to Wickes then.

I picked up a large tub of bamboo several times before it occurred to just roll it into a corner and leave it there for now.

And my watering can blew over on its side. I knew I should have prepared for this day by putting some water in it.

How smug am I allowed to be given that my neighbour has lost panels but my ones, held up with cable ties, are all fine?

The neighbour in question is a Naaridge fan if that helps inform your answer.

Wheely bin blown over, shed roof felt ripped off, power out for couple of hours and a small tree across the road blown down.

Carnage.

Similar my end, and a bit of stone wall. I dare say there will be more over the rest of the day.

Eunice is very woke isn't she. Takes a fence very easily.

Total carnage here too. Had to replace a small plastic plant pot that blew across the lawn.

Taping down loose items and weighting down the bin seems to have worked.

The fence was old and rickety. It’s now old and partly demolished. Not a problem.

Rotherham v Wigan game has gone ahead.
Are they saying that they're reet 'ard and a breeze won't stop them.
I guess Storm Eunice did come up from the South so they probably think it's a southern softy.

Don't believe a word I say. I'm only kidding. Or am I?

Pffft, defo southern softies - till you've lived in an old cott 200m from the Atlantic on the most westerly headland on Orkney during a hurricane that reached 139mph at which point the wind gauge (sited in a sheltered spot in Kirkwall) broke, you aint lived!

All of my fencing is down. Ok, I’ve only got (had) one panel blocking off the side that was about 2ft across, but I was quite attached to it. I painted it last year as well. I hope whoever finds it looks after it as much as I did. Thankfully the rest of the garden is walled (that sounds posh, but it’s not).

Things escalated here when my 'If it doesn't fit through the letterbox' note almost came off the front door.

I tried to get away with just smoothing the old tape back down, but in the end I had to go out and attach a new strip.

Just opened Yahoo (which I use as my home page) and there's a picture of a tree down in Sudbury.
